Located near Winthrop, Washington, approximately four hours from Seattle via the North Cascades Highway, Sun Mountain Lodge offers wedding venues and elopement settings for intimate celebrations and larger destination weddings alike. Exchange vows at the Bluff with panoramic North Cascades views, gather beside Patterson Lake, or celebrate indoors with an intimate dinner in the Wine Cellar. We knew we wanted to get married at Sun Mountain Lodge from the first time we visited. The staff is absolutely incredible, and the views, activities, and amenities can’t be beaten. Everyone who works there is so kind and generous. Chris, our wedding coordinator, was there for anything and everything we needed. There were so many small and thoughtful details that Chris and her staff were attentive to during the day.

Such a magical day! The venue is quiet, STUNNING, and offers a place for your guests to stay. SML made this wedding much easier to plan. They take care of the food, drinks, linens, tables, chairs, set up, and take down. The site offers a delightful wedding coordinator on-site. Her name is Chris Blue. She has been doing this for years and definitely has a good beat on what you will need to make your day special. My only advice is to leave room in your budget for unexpected changes. Food prices change with inflation.
