The hydroplanes are coming back to Pearrygin Lake State Park for the 26th consecutive year in October to compete in the Whidbey Island Roostertails Western Divisional Regatta. These are the smaller “limited” hydroplanes (the unlimited are, the larger boats that compete in the Seafair Race and others).

Admission is free for race fans. Racing will be from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. on Sunday. A Discover Pass will be required for parking.
