Sous Chef

Sous Chef

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and development.
  • Manage kitchen operations, overseeing staff and ensuring efficiency.
  • Lead food preparation to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies.
  • Enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Sous Chef experience
  • Sous Chef at a resort with Banquet experience is preferred.
  • Large volume restaurant experience will be considered.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay starts at 78k per year.

Housekeeping Manager

Position Overview

The Housekeeper Manager is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and guest readiness of all guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. This leadership role includes managing a team, maintaining inventory, and upholding high standards of quality and efficiency, especially during peak periods. The Executive Housekeeper will work closely with other department leaders to align housekeeping operations with the lodge’s overall goals. The Housekeeping Manager is expected to clean rooms during busy periods; desk work equates to 20% of overall worktime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
    • Develop and implement staff schedules that align with occupancy and operational needs.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
    • Ensure housekeeping closets are stocked and organized before and after shifts.
    • Oversee laundry operations and coordinate with the maintenance team to address equipment needs.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate inventory of linens, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies.
    • Order supplies proactively to prevent shortages and ensure timely restocking.
    • Work with the Director of Rooms to manage vendor relationships and purchasing schedules.
  • Technology Utilization:
    • Leverage HotSOS to monitor service requests, track recurring issues, and improve response times.
    • Train the housekeeping team on technology use, ensuring accurate task logging and accountability.
  • Guest Experience:
    • Respond promptly to guest feedback and ensure swift resolution of any housekeeping-related concerns.
    • Create an environment where every team member is empowered to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Manager of Housekeeping, or similar role in a high-end hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and service order platforms (e.g., HOST, Rex, HotSOS).
  • Ability to manage inventory, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining luxury standards.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational demands.

Expectations

  • Understand that peak seasons require additional hours and a hands-on approach.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve shared goals.
  • Maintain a focus on continuous improvement, regularly analyzing and enhancing workflows.

Pay is $65,000 – $78,000 DOE

Massage Therapist

As a Massage Therapist at Sun Mountain Lodge, you will be responsible for providing professional and therapeutic massage services to guests in a luxurious spa setting. You will play a key role in ensuring the comfort, relaxation, and overall satisfaction of our guests through various massage techniques and treatments.

  • Provide Massage Services: Deliver a range of massage therapies, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, and aromatherapy, tailored to guest needs.
  • Guest Consultation: Assess guests’ needs, preferences, and health conditions to recommend appropriate treatments.
  • Maintain Treatment Areas: Ensure that all treatment rooms and areas are clean, well-organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of spa products and services to answer guest inquiries and upsell treatments.
  • Client Records: Accurately document guest information and treatment details, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Adherence to Protocols: Follow all spa and resort protocols and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other spa professionals, including estheticians and front desk staff, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Massage Therapist in a spa or resort setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in various massage techniques, strong communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with massage therapy.
  • Professionalism: High standards of personal grooming and a strong commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the operations of our quick-service fast-food restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a background in food service management.

Duties
