Night Auditor

Night Auditor

Job Summary:

The Night Auditor at Sun Mountain Lodge plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial accuracy and smooth operation of the Lodge during overnight hours. This position is responsible for handling various financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and providing exceptional guest service, all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Duties:

  • Conduct the nightly audit process, including balancing and reconciling all resort revenue streams, such as room revenue, food and beverage, and other outlets.
  • Verify the accuracy of all guests transactions, including room charges, cash payments, credit card transactions, and discounts
  • Prepare and distribute daily financial reports and summaries to the management team.
  • Address discrepancies or errors promptly and report them to the appropriate department.

Guest Services:

  • Provide a warm and welcoming environment for late-arriving and departing guests, offering assistance and answering inquiries as needed.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs for guests arriving or departing during the night shift.
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns, resolving issues or escalating them to the appropriate department when necessary.

Security and Safety:

  • Monitor the security cameras and ensure the safety and security of guests and the property during the night
  • Conduct routine safety checks and report any suspicious activity or incidents to the proper authorities

Administrative Tasks:

  • Update and maintain guest records and reservations in the property management system
  • Assist with the preparation of the daily schedule for housekeeping and maintenance staff.
  • Perform various clerical duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and handling paperwork

Cash Handling

  • Safely handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Prepare cash deposits and ensure the accuracy of cash drawer balances.
  • Follow resort policies and procedures for secure cash handling and reporting.

Communication

  • Maintain effective communication with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Relay important information to the daytime front office team and management.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all resort policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Prepare and submit required financial and operational reports to management.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in accounting or hospitality is a plus
  • Previous experience in night audit, accounting, or front desk operations is preferred
  • Proficiency in property management systems and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle responsibility during night shifts.
  • Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.

Dishwasher

Responsibilities:

  • Dish Cleaning: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils using the appropriate cleaning equipment and procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper cleaning and maintenance of dishwashing equipment, including regular cleaning and occasional troubleshooting.
  • Kitchen Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including the storage of clean dishes and utensils.
  • Trash and Recycling: Dispose of trach and recycling according to the lodge’s waste management guidelines.
  • Assistance: Assist the kitchen staff as needed, including basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping ingredients, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and kitchen equipment.
  • Efficiency: Work quickly and efficiently to keep up with demands of the kitchen during busy periods.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods and life heavy objects.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen sanitation procedures and guidelines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Massage Therapist

As a Massage Therapist at Sun Mountain Lodge, you will be responsible for providing professional and therapeutic massage services to guests in a luxurious spa setting. You will play a key role in ensuring the comfort, relaxation, and overall satisfaction of our guests through various massage techniques and treatments.

  • Provide Massage Services: Deliver a range of massage therapies, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, and aromatherapy, tailored to guest needs.
  • Guest Consultation: Assess guests’ needs, preferences, and health conditions to recommend appropriate treatments.
  • Maintain Treatment Areas: Ensure that all treatment rooms and areas are clean, well-organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of spa products and services to answer guest inquiries and upsell treatments.
  • Client Records: Accurately document guest information and treatment details, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Adherence to Protocols: Follow all spa and resort protocols and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other spa professionals, including estheticians and front desk staff, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Massage Therapist.
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Massage Therapist in a spa or resort setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in various massage techniques, strong communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with massage therapy.
  • Professionalism: High standards of personal grooming and a strong commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Food and Beverage Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the operations of our quick-service fast-food restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a background in food service management.

Duties
– Manage all aspects of food service operations including food preparation, kitchen management, and cash handling
– Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure exceptional customer service
– Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining quality standards
– Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Experience
– Proven experience in managing a quick-service fast-food restaurant or similar establishment
– Strong background in food service management, team management, and hospitality
– Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management
