Patterson Lake Cabins

The Patterson Lake Cabins are nestled in a cottonwood grove on a pristine lakefront just 1.2 miles below Sun Mountain Lodge. An ideal family getaway, these cabins range from 10 one-bedroom units to four Loft Suites and two Grande Suites. The Patterson Lake Cabins are fully equipped with all the conveniences of home: air conditioning, full kitchens with cooking utensils, microwave and dishwasher, gas fireplaces, and large front porches overlooking the lake. Housekeeping is offered daily. A comfort station with two washing machines and two dryers is also available for guest use. The cabins have no televisions or telephones, but cell and WiFi services are available. Sun Mountain Lodge charges a $23 per room per night resort fee, with a portion of this fee going to help support the Shafer Museum in Winthrop. A spacious common lawn area complete with a children’s play area and barbecue, multiple facilities are available for your enjoyment. (Guests must provide their own charcoal and supplies for the barbecues.) Lakefront activities include rental rowboats, peddle-boats, standup paddleboards, and kayaks. Other activities include fishing, swimming, hiking, and mountain biking. In the winter, Ice Fishing and the Nordic ski trails are accessible right from your door. Our guests can now bring their favorite canine family members to the Patterson Lake Cabins on their vacation! All the cabins *except* #612 and #613 are pet-friendly. Guests will be required to fill out a Dog Waiver upon registration as well as pay a $75 per day Fido Fee. Some restrictions apply – some breeds will not be allowed. Guestroom photos are a general representation of guestroom categories. Actual guestrooms may vary slightly. In order to preserve the alpine lake ambiance of Patterson Lake, there is an 8mph speed limit in effect. Power boats and jet skis are welcome on nearby Pearrygin and Alta Lakes.
